Paris Hilton - Phone Hacked

Word on the net last night, actually about 1:00am EST (Feb20-05) was that Paris Hilton's (you may remember her from this Free Paris Hilton Video Clips) personal address book was hacked and all phone numbers, personal notes & emails were breached and posted on several internet sites. It didn't take long for people to start testing the numbers & a lot were real, some were answering machines, others were disconnected.

Well on SecurityFocus.com there was a report that a hacker had access to some very sensitive info from T-Mobile for the passed year & the guy was caught (reported Jan11,2005). This however doesn't seem to be the person who managed to get Paris' address book from her sidekick. This is from another security site that says T-Mobile' security leaves a lot to be desired and they should have learned the first time.

Someone by the nick Quantam-X was actually recording his calls but he was quite sweet and professional (don't know if the links will work)
Samantha Ronson
Eminem (note that the guy wasn't sure it was really him or if he had a friend answer)
Nick Carter (Paris's Ex-boyfriend......from BackStreetBoys fame) where he says 'she's stupid, a big idiot, she's a fucking idiot'. This is another piece when he apparently went to a webmaster forum that he was directly to and people weren't believing it was him. Nick Carter - He also said this when Paris went over after he told her what was happening.

Oh he def is, when i spoke to him he said he was already on the site but couldnt find it..I said what do you see on the screen and he said " fucking around and program discussions "I said click that , and he said "OH MY GOD PARIS LOOK AT THIS" Then he started listing off the celebs on the site anna kounikova seth green etc etcThen he said " paris is here right now freaking out she smashed her sim card what else should she do "

The bad stuff is that she had some....let's say personal images on her Sidekick and those are all over the internet & fast.

Personally, if I was bigtime like that, I wouldn't put any of that info online or in the 'security' of others. 500 important/famous people will have to change their phone numbers, emails and all that stuff. Good thing is that I didn't see any addresses on the list - would hate for a stalker to have easy access.

Ciao for today.
